Exploring the Abstract (Thursday AM) with Beth Reynolds
Thursdays, 6 classes
Skill Level: All Levels
Spring Session (April 14, 21, 28, May 5, 12 and 19)
Discover lines, textures, colors and light. By looking at photo history and contemporary work, be inspired to see graphically and find personal expression. This is a fun but challenging class. Assignments and reviews each week will help you improve and stay motivated.
I began photographing for my school newspaper in the 9th grade. Being a photojournalist has been my passion for nearly 30 years. In 1995 I received my MFA in photography from The Hartford Art School.
In 2003, I was selected to be the first Photographer Laureate for the city of Tampa. I love teaching as much as taking photographs and have been combining these loves for over 20 years. Currently I am the Director of Photography at the Morean Arts Center.
