Landscape Photography Workshop with Beth Reynolds
2-Part, 2-Day Workshop
Saturday, September 15 & Sunday, September 23, 2018
Experience Level: All levels welcome, must have your own digital camera
In conjunction with the Clyde Butcher exhibition at the Dali Museum, Beth Reynolds, Morean Arts Center Director of Photography, will lead participants in this Butcher-focused landscape photography workshop. Inspired by Butcher’s aesthetic and connection to the land, students will gain an understanding of composition, technical settings and a little post-processing to create a dynamic photograph. Each student will have one image professionally printed to show at the Morean on the Photo Gallery Wall.
Saturday, September 15: tour at the Dali Museum with Reynolds of “Clyde Butcher: Visions of Dali’s Spain,” followed by a lesson on landscape, vision, and photo techniques. Following lunch on their own at Cafe Gala (on-site at Dali Museum), the group will go on a photo field trip to a classic Florida landscape (TBD). Meet at the Dali Museum at 10am for tour and lecture.
Sunday, September 23: group will gather at the Morean Art Center (719 Central Ave) for a photo critique at 12-3pm.
Bring your own digital camera. Tripod helpful (if you have one, bring it).
