Fall Session 2 (Oct 31, Nov 7, 14, 28, Dec 5 & 12)
Be inspired by poems and literary passages from local authors. Students will listen and brainstorm ideas about how to create a photograph that will complement the words they hear. Create a still life, street shoot, landscapes–all forms of photography will be explored. We will select images to be displayed with the text for the Photography Wall on the first floor.
I began photographing for my school newspaper in the 9th grade. Being a photojournalist has been my passion for nearly 30 years. In 1995 I received my MFA in photography from The Hartford Art School.
In 2003, I was selected to be the first Photographer Laureate for the city of Tampa. I love teaching as much as taking photographs and have been combining these loves for over 20 years. Currently I am the Director of Photography at the Morean Arts Center.
