Winter Session 1 (Jan 10, 17, 24, 31, Feb 7 and 14)
Once you know your F-stops and shutter speeds–what’s next? Creativity and seeing are next!
You have survived the Holidays…family and food overload. It’s time to slow down, relax, and find your Chi again. This class will not be technical; it will be thoughtful. Seeing, finding balance, slowing down, and exploring. We will meet for 3 weeks in the classroom, and 3 weeks out on location to explore.
I began photographing for my school newspaper in the 9th grade. Being a photojournalist has been my passion for nearly 30 years. In 1995 I received my MFA in photography from The Hartford Art School.
In 2003, I was selected to be the first Photographer Laureate for the city of Tampa. I love teaching as much as taking photographs and have been combining these loves for over 20 years. Currently I am the Director of Photography at the Morean Arts Center.
