Drawing the Figure with Clothing with Dean Fortune
Tuesdays, 6 classes
6:30pm – 9:30pm
Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Spring Session (April 16, 23, 30, May 7, 14, 21)
Using initially undraped models, we draw the figure as the armature for the clothing that goes on the model. Understanding the underlying forms drives how and why clothing looks like it does. All of the twists, folds, and stretches are the intersection of form (of the figure) and fabric. We will draw the form first then the fabric–repeatedly! It is a fun and challenging class. Join us!
Some drawing experience needed to get the most from this class. This is not for absolute beginners.
