Groups of 10 or more can enjoy discounted rates for the Chihuly Collection presented by the Morean Arts Center located in St. Petersburg’s beautiful downtown. You may also book a visit to include the experience of live glass-blowing demonstrations at the Glass Studio & Hot Shop, enjoyment of the galleries of the Morean Arts Center, and a behind the scenes tour of the Morean Center for Clay.

Each of our four facilities offers an eclectic mix of unique and inspirational educational experiences. Any tour you choose for your class whether as a full-day event, or just a taste, we promise exceptional service and a memorable event.

School groups will be provided curriculum and activities for pre-visit discussion, instructional materials during the visit and post-visit discussion.
This curriculum will be offered at the time of the tour booking and may be sent via e-mail as an attachment or mailed directly to the school.

 

Tour Request Form

Fill out and submit the Tour Request Form.

A Guest Services team member will respond directly to your request and will be able to answer any questions you may have. You will also receive a follow-up packet via email with information on parking, directions, and FAQs.

Tour requests must be made at least 3 weeks in advance.

What constitutes a ‘group’?

Groups consist of 10 or more people

Are all four locations walker/wheelchair accessible?

Absolutely!

Is there seating throughout?

We do have benches scattered throughout the Chihuly Collection and in Guest Services, as well as the Morean Arts Center Galleries and Center for Clay. Ample seating is available at the Hot Shop.

Can we have a guide (docent)? Is there an extra cost for a guide?

Yes, with advance notice, we are able to schedule a docent for your group at no additional charge.

Is parking available?

Free parking is available for tour buses at the Dolphin Parking lot on The Pier approach two blocks south of The Chihuly Collection as well as in a designated parking lot near the Glass Studio & Hot Shop, Morean Arts Center and Morean Arts Center for Clay. For individual vehicles, on-street parking is available at all locations, with metered on-street parking at and near the Collection.

Are there specifics to tell my group?

We encourage you to travel light. All backpacks, shopping bags, packages, strollers, coats or umbrellas must be checked or left in your vehicle(s) during your visit to the Chihuly Collection. To provide the best guest experience in our facilities, mobile phone use and food/drink are not permitted in the Chihuly Collection or Morean Arts Center Galleries. Photography is permitted in the Gift Shops, Morean Arts Center Galleries, Center for Clay and in the Hot Shop.
