In order to provide world-class services and educate people of all ages, the Morean Arts Center and its locations collect certain information about our constituents. We understand that you are putting a great deal of trust in us.

It is our duty to protect your data and it isn’t one that we take lightly. We want to take a moment and share our Privacy Policy with you in plain English.

By “we” or “us”, we mean our organization, Arts Center Association, Inc., and by “you” we refer to our constituents and those who choose to provide us data.

Security First
When we collect and use the information that you provide, we use industry-standard software and practices. When we share your data with third-parties, we use software vendors and companies that are security-focused.

All of our major software vendors, such as Microsoft and Blackbaud, make use of secure technologies.

With privacy and security in mind, access to your data is restricted solely to our staff and authorized third-party personnel.

What information do we collect?
When we provide class sign-ups, summer camps, or other exciting events, we ask for relevant personal information. Some of this information may include:
• Personally identifiable information;
• Information collected when you visit our website;
• And information collected when you visit any of our locations or events.

What is “Personally Identifiable Information”?
Examples of personally identifiable information we collect include your name, your child’s name, email address, and mailing address.

What information do you collect on your website?
Our website makes use of third-party analytic services, like Google Analytics, to track how users make use of our site. We do this so we can improve our services over time.

What in information is collected on location?
When you visit a Morean Arts Center location or event, our staff may ask for information like your zip code. This information is used to build reports on where our visitors are coming from or for billing and bookkeeping purposes.

If you make use of our Facebook Beacon or other social sharing device or service at a location, you consent to the privacy policies of those devices and services.

Who can access my information?
Only Morean Arts Center staff and authorized personnel have access to your data.

We may be required by law, subpoena, and other legal process to provide your information to a certain party. We will disclose your information to authorities if required by law or to exercise or protect the rights, property, or safety of our visitors, staff, or the public. We attempt to notify users about legal demands for their data when appropriate in our judgment, unless prohibited by law or court order or when the request is an emergency. We may dispute such demands when we believe, in our discretion, that the requests are overbroad, vague, or lack proper authority, but we do not commit to challenge every demand.

We sometimes work with other companies to perform certain business-related functions, such as processing payments. In these cases, we only provide the companies with the information they need to perform their specific function.
