Morean Arts Center Turns 100. We Want Your Memories!

10 Aug 2015, Posted by Morean Administrator in Community, Events, News, Press Releases

Although we have evolved over the many decades, from the Arts Club of St. Petersburg in 1917 to today’s thriving Morean Arts Center, we want to celebrate as much history and as many memories as possible.

You are a vital part of why we are here, why we continue to work hard every day to create opportunities in art for our community and why we are looking forward to another amazing century ahead for the organization.

If you have time, we would love to hear from members of our community. We want to hear:

  • a word that comes to mind when you think of the Morean Arts Center
  • a story or experience from your time with the Morean Arts Center
  • a line or two on why you love the Morean, continue to take classes or visit our galleries.
  • a camp memory or picture

Send your replies to Cory.Adler@MoreanArtsCenter.org.

All of these quotes, words and stories will be used as testimonials throughout our 100th year celebration. Many will appear on our website and social media, and some will appear on promotional material throughout 2017. If you wish to have your submission remain anonymous, please let us know.
As mentioned above, any memories, thoughts or experiences can range through our evolution as an Arts Center. We welcome any and all thoughts, memories, pictures, etc. We very much look forward to reliving these memories along with you!
We thank you for your continued support of the Morean Arts Center; we would not be here without you!

Sincerely,

Roger Ross
Interim Executive Director
Morean Arts Center
