Fresh Squeezed: Emerging Artists in the Sunshine State
CALL FOR ENTRY DEADLINE: November 14, 2016 (MIDNIGHT)
The Morean is pleased to invite emerging artists currently residing in Florida to submit entries for possible exhibition in the first annual Fresh Squeezed: Emerging Artists in the Sunshine State. The exhibition will be held at the Morean Arts Center from March 11-April 30, 2017.
The Morean Galleries will be divided into six spaces, giving each selected artists what will essentially be a solo exhibition. Works in any medium will be accepted and site-specific installations are encouraged.
Eligibility: Open to all artists over 18 who are residents of Florida, without restriction to medium. The Morean defines an emerging artist as one who has never had a solo show in the state of Florida. One exception: solo BFA or MFA shows at a college or university are fine.
