World Creativity and Innovation Week Celebrated in Pinellas County

St. Petersburg/Clearwater, FL – (April 15 thru 21, 2020) The Morean Arts Center in St. Petersburg, and My Favorite Art Place in Clearwater, have partnered to celebrate World Creativity and Innovation Week (WCIW). This global event began in 2001 and became a United Nations International Day of observance in 2017.  WCIW is a worldwide community dedicated to using Creativity and Innovation to solve problems for the planet, in countries, states, cities, schools, the workplace and in personal lives. Beginning with Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday, April 15 and concluding on the eve of Earth Day, April 21st, people unite globally (48+ Countries are involved) to provide time, space, opportunity and skill building for people to generate new ideas and use the power of imagination to make a difference in many ways. The celebration in Pinellas County will feature a series of presentations that are free and open to the public with limited seating assigned on a first-come first-served basis.  All of the presentations will be hosted at the Morean Arts Center at 719 Central Avenue in St. Petersburg.
