Learn how to see and translate 3-D forms into drawings using a variety of “right-brain” methods like measuring, relationships, simple perspective, and negative space. Shading, mass, composition will be explored as well as description, structure, and expression. Students wanting to work from a model can split the model fee.
Advanced students may pursue independent study and I will provide critique, materials exploration and suggested areas for growth.
Please bring: 18” x 24” newsprint pad, kneaded eraser, ebony or 6b pencil, soft vine charcoal. All other materials will be furnished.
